The National Register of Warranted Builders (NRWB) operated by The Federation of Master BuildersRiveroak has joined The National Register of Warranted Builders (NRWB), which provides building work guarantees to protect customers financially in the unlikely event that something goes wrong during the building contract, and for up to 10 years after the work is completed.

The scheme is operated under the Government’s TrustMark quality mark framework, and is run by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the largest building trade association in the UK.

To qualify, Riveroak had to undergo the organisation’s vetting process, which includes regular on-site inspections of work in progress, as well as checks on our trading record and financial status. Riveroak also signed up to the FMB’s Code of Practice which includes insurance, good health and safety practices and customer care.

As Riveroak Director Tony Shepherd explains “Our firm is founded on excellent relationships with our customers and generally we don’t have any problems, in fact, many of our customers come back time and again. But we felt this would offer some extra reassurance to those who are working with us for the first time”

When instructing a builder, you can choose from a 2, 6 or 10 year insurance backed warranty period and each policy comes with a free conciliation service to resolve any dispute, should one arise. There are policies available to cover domestic repairs, maintenance and improvement work, as well as deposit protection, new housing and surety bonds.

For further information, visit the FMB website or call Tony Shepherd on 01732 456330.
